We invite applications from highly qualified candidates at different levels including Assistant professor, Associate professor, Professor with/without tenure. We are looking for faculties with the expertise in broad range of areas of theoretical computer science including (but not limited to), Algorithms and Complexity, Algorithmic Game Theory, Machine Learning, Information Theory. Salary and compensation packages are attractive and competitive. Initial appointments are typically made for six years fixed-term. Subsequent contract renewal, promotion, and tenure policies follow standard international practices.

Each year our institute offers two research fellowship positions. The appointment will hold for two years with the annual salary of 300,000 RMB. There is no fixed deadline for the application. The institute accepts both PhD and Master students. There are a few ways to join the graduate program at ITCS and we generally follow the rules of the university and information school for admission. Please contact our institute (email: itcs(AT)mail.shufe.edu.cn) or a specific faculty at ITCS as early as possible, if you are interested to do a PhD degree at ITCS.

We have a number of visiting professor positions for researchers from overseas and other institutes in China. The appointment can be arranged for the term of at least one month each year. The purpose of these positions is to build long term research collaborations.

We welcome visiting students from SUFE and other universities as well. We can host senior undergraduate students for their final year project and offer research internship for both graduate and undergraduate students.
